Entrance tickets and grandstand seats are separate products
An entrance ticket alone doesn't give you a paid reserved grandstand seat during the race.
Prices are full rates from the ACO's 2027 price table, which the ACO calls non-contractual.
| Ticket | Valid | Price | Grandstand during the race |
|---|---|---|---|
| Full Week Race | 6 June, and 8 June (14:00) to 13 June | €126 | No (access only on 6 June and 9-11 June) |
| Weekend Race | 12-13 June | €112 | No |
| Sunday Race | 13 June | €77 | No. You miss the start but see the finish |
| Grandstand Pack Weekend | 12-13 June | Cat 3 €205, Cat 2 €231, Cat 1 €296 | Numbered seat |
| Full Week + Grandstand | 6 June, and 8 June (14:00) to 13 June | Cat 3 €219, Cat 2 €245, Cat 1 €310 | Numbered seat |
The gap between week and weekend is the same €14 with or without a seat. It buys Tuesday's activities, Wednesday and Thursday practice, Hyperpole and Friday's activities. All tickets give access to the Mulsanne and Arnage corners. There is one exception to the "No" in the table. Wheelchair users can use the platforms at T13, T16, T23 and T52 free of charge without booking. Access depends on availability, there's no seating, and one companion is allowed per spectator with reduced mobility or a disability.
Walking the grid before the start costs far more. Packs with Gridwalk start at €988, and otherwise only some VIP packages include it. No ticket covers scrutineering in the city or the Drivers' Parade. Under-16s get a free entrance ticket if they're with an adult who holds one, and one adult can bring up to four. At the gate, show proof with their name, photo and date of birth. For seats, under-8s are free on an adult's lap and 8- to 15-year-olds pay from €93. To book a seat at the child rate, you have to upload proof of age when you buy.
Choose a grandstand by roof and position
You can't buy a seat alone, only a pack with entry. Seats are numbered and reserved for the race on Saturday and Sunday. On practice days and Friday, a ticket valid that day lets you into the grandstands freely, apart from T17 and T18, which are for ACO members.
Only Cat 3 (T04 to T07) has no roof, and it's the cheapest at €205. Another €26 gets you Cat 2. On the ACO's 2027 map, the Cat 1 stands T15, T16 and T19 to T21 line the outside of the main straight, opposite the paddock. The podium is drawn next to T21 and T22. Cat 2 stands T11, T12 and T14 sit further north on the same straight, facing the Village. T01 Tertre Rouge and T03 Chapelle are also Cat 2, but they're away from the straight.
Karting Curve is at the south of the track. T28 to T30 are Cat 1 (€291), and T31 and T32 are Cat 2 (€228). T31 and T32 stand in the karting fan zone, with a roof, numbered seats and a view of a big screen, and that €228 is the cheapest covered seat.
Camping: check when you can get in
| Category | Sites | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Cat 1 | Houx (numbered), Épinettes | €184 |
| Cat 2 | Houx Annexe (numbered) | €115 |
| Cat 3 | Arnage, Mulsanne, Beauséjour (these three have a track view and a place to eat), Clos Fleuri, Hippodrome, Prairie, Nürburgring and others | €94 |
| Cat 4 (20 m², tent only) | Prairie (no vehicles), Hippodrome (car parked nearby) | €88 |
The campsites are open from 4 June to midday on 14 June, but entering by 11 June requires a Full Week Race ticket. As we read it, Weekend Race holders can't get in until Saturday 12 June, which means pitching a tent on race day.
Pitches are priced separately from entrance tickets. Outside Cat 4, a pitch is 35 m², and your vehicle and gear must all fit on it. Each vehicle needs its own pass. There are toilets and showers but no electric hook-up, though small generators are allowed. Each person can buy up to two camping tickets. You can arrive on foot with a tent at every site except the Camping Car area at Prairie.
You can't sleep in the car parks, because the ACO's price table forbids sleeping in your vehicle. For hotels and other accommodation, the ACO lists Destination Circuit and Spartner as official agencies.
How to buy on 6 November
Buy from the ACO's official ticket page. You need an ACO account to order, so create one first and you won't lose time at 10:00. Week and weekend tickets are limited to four per person. Tickets go in the LE MANS TICKETS app on your phone and can't be printed. Paper tickets come by paid DHL delivery. Under the terms, ticket prices don't include preparation and delivery costs.
There are no refunds. You get no 14-day cooling-off period, and illness doesn't get your money back. You can add optional protection during checkout. If you can't go, you can sell on the ACO's official resale site, which takes full-price entrance tickets and the like but not grandstand packs. You get no refund until someone buys. The same site is where to look after a sell-out, and it charges no fees. The ACO doesn't recommend buying elsewhere, and a counterfeit can get you refused at the gate.
Getting there from the UK
With camping gear, you'll drive. The Portsmouth to Caen ferry takes six hours, with up to three sailings a day, and the ACO's 2023 guide put Caen about two hours from the circuit. LeShuttle crosses from Folkestone to Calais in 35 minutes, and Calais is 400 km from Le Mans. The ACO expects heavy traffic and recommends Waze for routes.
By train, take Eurostar to Paris Gare du Nord, cross to Paris Montparnasse and board a TGV. The ACO's 2026 guidance gives one hour to Le Mans. From the station, take tram T1 towards Antarès - Stade Marie Marvingt to the terminus for the East Gate. In 2023 that took under 20 minutes, and on race Saturday and Sunday trams ran through the night every 6 to 10 minutes (every 30 minutes from 03:00 to 06:00). The 2027 service isn't out yet, so check before you leave.
On a British citizen passport, you need one issued less than 10 years before you arrive and valid for at least three months after you plan to leave the Schengen area. You can stay visa-free for 90 days in any 180. EES may ask for your fingerprints and photo, and the border can take longer. As of 4 November 2026, ETIAS wasn't running and applications weren't open, so check before you travel.
Planning your 24 hours
These are the main times from the 2027 official programme.
| Day | Time | Event |
|---|---|---|
| Fri 11 | 15:30-19:00 | Fans on track (the 13.626 km circuit opens to you) |
| Fri 11 | 16:00-19:00 | Drivers' Parade (city centre) |
| Sat 12 | 15:00-15:45 | Official start ceremony |
| Sat 12 | 16:00 | Start (62 cars in the official programme) |
| Sat 12 | 20:00-23:30 | Concert |
| Sat 12 | 23:55-00:30 | 24 Hours of Le Mans show |
| Sun 13 | 16:00 | Chequered flag |
| Sun 13 | 16:10 | Podium, then the track opens to fans |
Arrive before midday on Saturday. The ACO advises arriving early for the gate checks, which cover bags and jackets and can include a metal detector. Keep ID to hand.
With an entrance ticket alone, you can't use a paid reserved grandstand seat during the race, so decide in advance where you'll watch and rest overnight. Our suggestion is to sleep a few hours after Saturday night's show, head to Arnage or Mulsanne before dawn, and be back at the straight by midday. All tickets give access to both corners, but the 2027 shuttle map and big-screen locations aren't out yet.
Have your ticket scanned whenever you leave. If you don't, you can't get back in and you won't get a refund. Your ticket is on your phone, the campsites have no power, and charging details for 2027 aren't out either, so carry a power bank.
If you bring children, the ACO strongly recommends hearing protection, and under-16s can get it free at first-aid stations. Glass packaging is banned inside the circuit enclosure. Stepladders can't come onto the site unless the organiser or manager authorises them for strictly professional purposes, and you can't fly a drone or ride a bike or scooter (motorised or not) there. The ACO says the full list of allowed and banned items will be announced shortly.
Don't rush home. The campsites stay open until midday on Monday, so you can stay another night after the flag and catch a Monday ferry.
