The 23 stands in lap order
You keep the same seat on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and you can't move to another stand. The views are as Silverstone describes them.

| Luffield | A long right-hander, Wellington Straight, Brooklands, National Straight | Luffield (roof) £719, Luffield Corner (roof) £669 |

Three-day tickets for Club Corner, Copse A, Copse B, Hamilton Straight A and Village B are marked "Limited Availability". Prime View seats, new for 2027, are the first three rows of five stands, and all their three-day tickets have sold out.
A Vale ticket adds access to the podium ceremony and first access to the fan track walk on Sunday. Fan reports: The independent viewing guide oversteer48 puts Hamilton Straight A directly opposite the podium. A 2026 visitor in row 5 of Hamilton Straight B wanted a higher row to see into the garages, and found the screens on the pit building far too small. oversteer48 also calls the screens distant at Chapel, Becketts, Luffield and Village, and suggests binoculars. To see over the catch fencing, it recommends row H or above at Copse A and row J or above at Copse B.
Three days for Saturday and Sunday, two for Friday and Saturday
2027 is a sprint weekend. Friday has free practice and Sprint Qualifying, Saturday has the Sprint and qualifying, and Sunday has the race. At all 20 stands with a Sunday ticket, adding Friday and Saturday costs £160. At those 20, buying Saturday and Sunday separately costs £79 to £239 more than a three-day ticket. Two-day tickets cover Friday and Saturday, and there's no Saturday and Sunday ticket. A four-day ticket is always the three-day price plus £30.
Our view: If you're going for one day, Saturday (£229 to £399) offers a lot to see for the price. For Saturday and Sunday, a three-day ticket is cheaper than two singles. For Friday and Saturday only, the two-day ticket is cheaper at stands that sell one. Copse D, Stirling A and Woodcote C show no Sunday price.
Covered seats that still get wet
The 2025 race started in the rain, and a torrential downpour brought out the Safety Car on lap 14. Silverstone's advice for 2026 was to pack waterproofs and sunscreen. Our view: In an uncovered stand, a poncho is the safe choice.
Silverstone's 2026 FAQ calls its covered stands "fully covered". Fan report: oversteer48 disagrees, saying the first four rows of National Pit Straight are mostly outside the roof and recommending row 5 or higher. It adds that Woodcote A and B, Luffield, Copse A to C, Stirling B, Village B, Club Corner and Hamilton Straight A have open sides, so end seats are exposed to the rain. Our view: If you get to choose a seat, look for one from the middle rows up and away from the ends.
On the sun, oversteer48 says Chapel and Club A keep it mostly behind you, while Copse A and Copse B face it for part of the day.
Camping or staying in a town
All the official sites include parking, and race tickets are sold separately. These prices were checked on 4 November 2026.
- Woodcote Fields: a 5–10 minute walk from the main gates. Four nights, Thursday to Monday, cost £410 for up to two adults or £650 for up to four.
- Abbey Meadows: a 10-minute walk. Five nights, Wednesday to Monday, cost £930 for up to four adults, with electric hook-up.
- Silverstone Golf Club: tent pitches from £375 and ready-pitched tents from £1,650. It's 50 metres from the entrance nearest Club Corner, Vale and the Landostand, and a bridge links the two.
- The Ridings: ready-pitched tents with breakfast, from £275 per person per night.
Camping's advantage is the evenings. Your ticket includes that day's evening shows on the main stage. Robbie Williams plays Thursday's Opening Concert, but you need a ticket that covers Thursday to see him. Fan report: A 2026 visitor who travelled in from home each day skipped the concerts because they would have got home too late.
A day trip works. Fan report: In 2026 one visitor took about two hours each way from central London, via Euston, Milton Keynes and the shuttle bus. Our view: Without a car or a tent, staying near a station with a shuttle is the realistic choice from abroad. With a tent and a Vale seat, consider the Golf Club, which is close to the entrance.
Take the train and shuttle, not the car
Silverstone recommends Park & Ride or its buses. Parking is very limited, the roads get extremely busy, and many car parks are on grass, up to a 30-minute walk from the gates. There's no drop-off at the circuit. In 2012 heavy rain put grass car parks out of use, and fans missed practice in the traffic.
Shuttles run from Milton Keynes (50 minutes), Northampton (40), Banbury (50), Oxford Parkway (50) and Coventry (80) stations, and stop 2 minutes from the Abbey and Brooklands entrances. A return costs £8 per person per day (4 November 2026), and it's cheapest if you book before 31 March 2027. National Express and Megabus coaches stop near the Luffield entrance. The 2027 timetable lists 05:30 and 14:00 inbound on Sunday, and 16:30 and 22:30 outbound. Silverstone says buses leave until at least 30 minutes after the main stage finishes. Fan report: Buses got priority in and out, with hardly any traffic on nearby roads. We don't know how long the queues for the buses home are.
We haven't confirmed the 2027 gate opening times. Fan report: Gates opened at 6:30 on Sunday in 2026. Tickets are app-only, with no paper version. Bags can be up to 20 litres.
Buy from Silverstone
Buy from Silverstone's ticket page. The official F1 ticket store is an official seller too, but all 17 three-day tickets it lists under the same names cost more than at Silverstone, including those it can't currently sell. The F1 store says it charges no booking fees. We haven't confirmed whether Silverstone charges a normal booking fee, or the final total.
Don't buy from resale sites. Silverstone's terms say a ticket from an unauthorised seller is void, and the holder can be refused entry with no refund. It names Viagogo and StubHub as sites to avoid.
Children, wheelchairs and the driver stands
Copse A to C, National Pit Straight, Stirling A, Vale and Woodcote B have a 25% child discount. Silverstone's documents give the age as "under 11", "3 – 11" and "11 years and under", so check with Silverstone before you buy. Under-2s go free but still need a ticket, and each adult can bring up to two children.
Grandstands aren't wheelchair accessible and can have up to 30–40 steps. There are separate wheelchair platforms and viewing terraces.
The Landostand is at Stowe. A three-day ticket costs £569 and includes a T-shirt and free in-seat Wi-Fi. The George Russell Grandstand's seats have sold out, but standing GA+ at Farm Curve costs £449 for three days. If you don't need a seat, General Admission costs £349 for three days.
